Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns

One of the editors for Nintendo Dream contacted me to tell me that they are NOT accepting foreign entries via email.

PLEASE, DO NOT SEND ARTWORK TO NINTENDO DREAM VIA EMAIL!!

One reason for this is that they were receiving a number of titleless emails with attachments: which look very suspicious, as you can imagine. There was also an increase in spam. So, yeah. They don’t want you to send them stuff via email!!

But…that created a new opportunity.

I’ve received permission to coordinate a package of fan art from abroad! They will accept only artwork on paper; they do not accept digital art. (Unless it’s printed.) 

In the case of this new contest, Nintendo Dream is more interested in seeing details that reflect a foreign audience. Take that to mean whatever you want it to mean! Feel free to include notes or experiences–but keep them simple and short, as I’ll have to translate that stuff into Japanese. (English-to-Japanese translation is a lot more difficult for me than the other way around!)

I’ll soon set up a post office box to send entries to–or maybe I’ll just print some using a photo service, whichever’s cheaper. There may be a feature in a future magazine about Bokumono’s foreign fans–we’ll just have to wait and see! (We’re still hammering out the details.)

Whatever the case, you can still draw–just hang on to your drawings until I tell you where to send them!
